I’ve seen him play on the right loads of times including at Boston the other day and he looked alright cos he’s a very good player. But he looks a lot better on the left.

I thought they played with credit in that first game yesterday against a team who finished 4th in League 1 last season.
The worry for me was our lack of depth in midfield due to injuries. Also I think Didzy might be better up front than Scott.
The recruitment has been dire again. Reckon we need at least another midfielder and striker to even say we have a decent size squad to start the season with.
I am gonna be very positive and predict that Notts will be in the top three in L2 after 5 matches and no lower than 5th throughout the first half of the season and finishing the season in 3rd place.
We have only one aggressive player in midfield (Robertson) the rest are too lightweight, and are too easily knocked off the ball.. We had this problem last season and it has again not been addressed. Roberts is a waste of a shirt, and cannot see him being a regular starter. Reynolds is too similar in stature to Nemane, Austin and Crowley.. Its no good having tall defenders if the midfielders cannot win their headers..
I normally agree with you Russ OFT. But, saying the recruitment is "dire" before a competitive balls been kicked? I'm sure whoever on the Board is responsible for new signings is working on a striker and midfielder as we speak. For me, the biggest mistake is to make signings just to make up the numbers. If the club has to wait for quality at a value for money price, so be it.
