Just spotted a typo in my "bus" post..... Not exactly a lie but most definitely the whole truth .......
That should read.... Not exactly a lie but most definitely NOT the whole truth.
Sorry for any confusion
PS - what message are the 2 stars intended to convey, Angry?
You have all the subtlety of a sledge hammer, Angry.
Perhaps you only looked at the picture and read the first sentence.
I may be wrong but I would have thought the sub-text of MA’s post was that, although sadly we have come to expect advertising to mislead and confuse...it is the job of politicians to act with integrity in providing clarification and honesty from which the public may then be in a position to judge and make an informed choice.
Glad you approve of that sentiment because it isn’t what happened in 2016 and it sure as hell ain’t happening now.
Also rA, I would expect people with something as potentially powerful as a vote would have the intelligence to understand the difference between what people say and what they actually mean.
Back on the busgate scandal.
Cameron £9million propaganda book
900 000 unemployed- rising to 3 million
House prices halving
War in Europe
Emergency Brexit tax
No chance of a plan for an EU army
If only they'd told the truth? Maybe I would have voted remain, as I have obviously been taken in by a ****ing bus
Hmmm...wish I had your faith, but I fear that might be an unrealistic expectation MA.
When waiting to vote at the 2010 election I stood behind a local man in his late fifties/sixties and his thirty something daughter.
They had to ask what to do...still I’m sure they have a better grasp of the complexities of Brexit and the workings of the EU than the last five Prime Ministers and a similar number of Chancellors. ;D
