Just listened to:
Pink - 'The Star Spangled Banner'
What an honour for her, singing her nation's anthem in front of an American audience of maybe 100 million, and from her home town too. Unlike many who have been chosen in the past, she chose to ignore the 'its all about me' approach and just belt it out like she meant it, nearly overdid it at the key point (it's REALLY difficult to sing) and set the greatest sporting show on earth off to a great start. Rock On Pink.
And a great first half its been so far - will be even better if the evil empire falls in H2
Just had one of those days a three hour traffic jam on M6 coming back from Manchester Finally home settled down with a beer and just listening to Chris Cornell doing a cover of the Prince hit Nothing comperes to you Life's not that bad really
Always liked Prince. A prolific song writer too. One of the best ever.
Meanwhile I had loads of music on this Saturday morning (Far East time of course)
