Thanks for your concern OC, she did recover from the burns and skin grafts, but a couple of years later she was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus and was dead within ten weeks. None of us know what's just around the corner do we ?Quote:

You keep emphasising the issue of trust OC, which you are perfectly entitled to, most sources will have an agenda, so you're right to be wary. What is the purpose of Government and BBC colluding, what’s the big plan.
Briefly this time
There are many more people than SAGE involved in advising Government such as civil servants, professional bodies, trade bodies etc.
SAGE has a wide range of views and maybe could have a few more. Some of its advice has been wide of the mark.
Government has to balance SAGE and others and try to plot a way forward using what it has available at the time or define what else it needs.
If could and should have done better.
The BBC has made known Government and SAGE failings, I suggest it is left leaning. I’m sceptical of some of its output, but it generally provides balanced views from others rather than promote its own message.
To suggest they collude to deceive us with all the rest is nonsense. To suggest all Governments following similar paths and growing numbers are part of a big plan is crazy

What do you believe is really happening and what evidence have you got for it?

No, I'm sure the figures are as accurate as they can be, the descriptions they use are dubious though, the number of deaths 'with' Covid are routinely described as deaths 'from' Covid, which is a lie, many of them are not dying from Covid at all. As we have discussed, people testing positive are routinely described as Covid cases, ignoring the fact that many are false positives and people who are asymptomatic. There was a question in Parliament from Peter Bone a couple of weeks ago, asking if they knew the % rate of false positives, the answer was 'no, we don't'. So even on their own admission they don't know how many testing positive have the virus, but still they call them 'cases'. Why do they lie ?
