He was on about the threat to NATO by talk of this crap.
Does Macron and Merkel really believe Putin is more scared of Germany/France/Poland/Romania?
Or Germany/France/UK/USA?

Now at 28 including 19 negative contributors.
Yet we have a flag/anthem/a new currency/law system/soon to be army/ ever closer ruling by Brussels.

I'm glad you don't have to forecast anything to do with this countries defence.

1. No one ever suggested they didn’t want the Economic Union to grow.
2. The argument that a purpose of any European Union would be to benefit the pursuit of lasting peace in a troubled continent, which for the first half of the Twentieth Century had been ruined by War, is nothing new.
3. Yes there’s an EU flag...it flies alongside all the other national flags...not instead of them.
4. Yes there’s an EU anthem...so what? No national anthem has subsequently been abandoned.
5. Yes the EU has its own currency...unless I’ve missed something they haven’t insisted we sacrifice the £ and join the €.
6. Yes there’s a European Supreme Court but when was the last time matters relating to the this or any other European country had its will imposed upon them?
7. ‘Soon to be army’. Says who? Says you...where’s the evidence? As MA said only yesterday the nations are too disparate. We don’t even have the commonality of language that they do in the USA. There is no evidence that there are plans for an USE army and the role is already largely performed by NATO.
