Rubbing shoulders with Ronners amongst the birds. As others have sid, by 2nd go could see multiple options but took a chance on one of three options as opposed to burning and got lucky.

Same circumstances as Raging but took the cautious route and burned on third go.
Like him should have been bolder and gone with most likely option - which turned out to be the right one.

A very messy 6 to conclude my 40th round on the WORDLE golf course at 91 under par. Some confused thinking today so I'll gladly shove BM out of the cupboard to get my thoughts together to start the next 40 rounds.

So, if I have my maths right, over 720 attempts at Wordl, on average you have solved it at the rate of 3.8736 guesses per puzzle.
(Have you included the over-par score when you failed - presumably at 7 guesses?)
While a golfing analogy would be an interesting way to measure comparable success among us on here, I wonder if average guesses per puzzle attempted might be a more direct comparison.
A bogey 5 for me today.

Wondered who the Eddie Izzard lookalike was, swinging their handbag, Saturday morning.
One thing CT can't contend with is the price of a breakfast. It was nice too.
