That's a literal squad incase any pc police about 😂😂
100%.
Industry have embarked for years on a clandestine crusade of cost cutting in a race to the bottom. I didn't realise that voters were doing the same thing when electing their world leaders.
Oh, and PR would be a mighty fkn mistake. You think its bad now, try PR for a while to see a real dose of stalemate, indecision and dummy spitting. No thanks.
Second thoughts, maybe a benevolent dictator in charge of the country for 30 years IS the right way to go after all.
....shiit might start getting done without a talking shop for months on end only for it to be reversed 4 years later whenba new government comes in.
Think Brian Clough but in politics.
If you´d said 20 years ago to me that a military government could be a good option in a country, I would have called you mad. Now, after living for many years in South America, I know that it could be. Democratic government here is a long way today from what was intended originally with a political class now firmly established who tax the bollox out of the people, offer nowt in return, feathering their nests and taking turns, between apparently opposing parties, to be in power. All nicely hidden behing an all powerful constitution that has been manipulated and changed by them over decades to suit their own privilaged positions.
So why the f*ck am I putting this on here? Because for the first time ever, I am starting to see signs of this in Britain. The Americans rejected it (the Democratic Party ´establishment´ as they called it) by electing Trump. Now in Britain we have a Parliament that knows it doesn´t have the same view as the majority of the people but refusing (for a while) to hold an election (the first time an opposition has ever refused a general election in the history of the country). My question would be why? Why did so many, especially Tory senior politicians (who are mostly advisors/consultants to big business these days) refuse to accept the will of the people on Brexit?? I know what I think. Dangerous times.
there was an article a few years ago about the "liberal " ( not the political party) , middle class , a few quid in the pockets usually they had the LSE or oxbridge backgrounds and they lived to rule the working class by telling them what was right and what was wrong and championing the cause of the downtrodden . Eventually it dawned on them they weren't gonna win and were lost with no causes. fast forward to today and the've found new causes in the political turmoil - corbyn wouldv'e been kicked out a long time ago but he has the backing of momentum - is it run by clothcapped working men ? nope
libdem leader against brexit ? course she is - her husband ex politican has a top job in an organisation which receives EU funding ! apparently
we all know what the tories are like no problem - worry about those others
Agreed.
I won't vote for them but as i said any competent Labour leader would be romping home.
After 9 years it should of been Boris trying to avoid an election, not him pushing for it and Corbyn and co voting against it.
Opposition should always want an election.
