If you ignore his bit of saying what we want to hear,I really like listening to him,a marked contrast to the last 2 managers,an intelligent man who obviously thinks a lot about what he`s doing,and he really makes me think we can do something next season,reminds me of Warne in that respect.
What he has done so far...7 singings,is unheard of,and they seem like good quality and not just numbers,but he`s still a lot of work to do,maybe another 6 or 7 more,but if they all come in fairly soon,then we have plenty of time to get them to all gel into a decent team,the awful memory of last season iis fading quickly.
Can only be 3 or 4 more as stevie mentioned towner. I think we can only have 22 in the squad for league 1. We have kept 11 on from last season so that is 18 players now. I would suspect a couple may leave so in effect we may get a couple more in on the 3 or 4.
I think christ may leave. No great loss , not impressed me yet he is probably quite saleable. Ollie may go as well but I don't think he will get the move he wants plus he may buy into Steve's ethos and sign up again. Hope odiffin does not go good cover for cm and cd. I don't think he will. Also hoping we can pay up hugill or eaves. In saying that they may be good in league 1 or at least better.
Really? I thought Tiehi was one of the few players in our midfield who could actually get hold of the ball, keep it and actually pass to someone else in a red shirt. He's a championship quality player in my view who would be a real asset in league one, if he wants to play for us that is.Quote:

I think the squad size for league 1 is 22 but that excludes goalkeepers so 24 presumably NOT including youth players so McGuckin will be on the bench quite often or Ayres or someone I think this is to keep in the rules and there’s only 7 subs not 9 not that that affected us last season!
So on that basis another 6 signings? Unless someone leaves- Tiehi/Humhriies/Rathbone/Hugill perhaps
