Warne has been sacked

Wow…Simon Jordan doesn’t like John Eustace does he?
Coming from the man who defended Mel Morris his criticisms seem a little shallow, all getting a bit messy though and I’ll be glad when things are resolved and the new manager can shake a few of last nights participants up.

Ironically, after a number of indifferent transfer dealings, it may be that we saw three of Paul Warne’s best signings in action last night.

JE was Head coach at Rovers, he will be that at Derby if the deal gets done. We don't do Managers anymore. He won't have the power/influence that gaffers up to and including Rooney had

The longer this drags on the more I fear we are being used to leverage the chicken boys. Hope there is a Plan B

Expect it to be done today going by all reports.
More concerned about whether he can do the job, mixed reviews from Blackburn fans. Expect the remit to be stability rather than heading towards promotion - that's fine, but fans will turn when the novelty tires. If he can keep us up.

No need he is coming, give the bloke a chance, I mean he is obviously going to negotiate his contract and his back room staff before being announced and he only got permission from Blackburn to talk on Monday afternoon!

Well he got both Birmingham and Blackburn with indifferent squads into the top 6, so getting Derby to mid table should be within his capability.

Any fans that think we are heading for promotion either this season or next are deluding themsleves.

Ironic only in that despite myself and MA explaining how transfers work you still don't seem to understand!

Anyway Eustace is our Head coac manager whatever!

Daft comment, Swale. I’m fully aware of how transfers work. Fact is he made a handful of very good ones and some very poor ones.

If, as has been said, the most important form of ability is ‘availability’ then, in that context, he’s made some absolute shockers…a view clearly sadly shared by the owner.

My comment was a positive and sympathetic one, simply suggesting that three of his January window signings may well be in the same category as Nelson and Adams and the irony is that that Langas, Salvesen and Clarke may prove to be crucial signings from the Warne era who he barely got to manage.

Anyway as you say, water under the bridge. Down to Eustace now and good luck to him.

This simple paragraph shows you don't understand. "He" didn't make the transfers. It was a decision by a recruitment team of which he was but a part. So "he" didn't make a handful of very good ones nor did "he" make some very poor ones.

Unless the process changes under Eustace, now will he.
