I was out at a reunion drink last night and my old Mackem colleague was deriding the postponed game against Bristol, one of the colleagues is a Bristolian, as the Mackems have players on international duty! He was saying how much better Sunderland as a place was and how they will slaughter Bristol and we all turned around and said " At least Bristol is open" .
His face was a delight to behold.
