Anyway, just for info for the non corporates who think that free lunches are commonplace and company cars are some kind of tax scam here's some info for you from the real corporate world - which is actually real and not assumed out of envy and bitterness -
It's called The Bribery Act 2012.
Amongst other things it places a duty on employers to ensure that acts of bribery ( free lunches, football tickets, nights out) aren't committed on it's behalf.
Yes these things happen routinely in order to build/maintain business relationships - but you are expected to declare them and they need authorising before they take place. As Kerr posted earlier we are each responsible for what we do and what comes out of our mouths, the trouble with today's society is that so many people try to make out that they're not responsible for they're own actions because Daddy didn't love them enough or mummy didn't tuck them up in bed.
Ultimately the choices we make are ours.
