More lunacy, if you're a blood donor in England you will have to wear a mask or you'll be turned away. If you're a blood donor in Wales, and you turn up wearing a mask, you'll have to remove it or you'll be turned away. The Welsh want to see your face, then they can detect early signs that you may be about to faint and injure yourself, the English are just blindly following the rules they choose to follow.
It's hard to know whether to laugh or cry.
How do you drink the tea and eat the biscuits wearing a face mask?

It's easy really, think positive! How to do it ? You wear your mask,then taking a felt 'marker pen',You mark the area ,left side and right side of your mouth! Take off your mask, and breath again! (slowly) Place the face mask before you on some old wooden board ,or your old cricket bat. Then taking a knife you cut a hole in your mask. You may now wear your mask after the wife has made you ' tea and biscuits'. Eat all you want and drink to your hearts content. Take off your mask and with that ever ready super glue ,glue back the cut in the mask, so simple really, but if your local policeman is outside as was 'Dixon of Dock Green',call him inside to check your mask ,but offer him 'tea and biscuits' But maybe in today's world all the 'coppers' are down at the headquarters filling in useless forms?? Indeed he was Balam. Unfortunately, we now live in an age where many people have lost the ability to think for themselves, they have become too reliant on technology and things like 'Ask Alexa' or whatever it is called. They no longer use their brain, they use the web to seek guidance on whatever -----the problem is then that they will accept whatever they find without even questioning the answer or its providence. This fact makes the majority of the population very compliant to whatever they are told.Quote:

Many young 'uns are going to raves, celebrating en masse in Leeds, Liverpool etc.
Certainly the younger people here are much more free thinking and challenging of authority than the older generation, who are happy to accept stuff. OK, some moan about things but then conform and obey.
Nowt new there, we were all rebels back in the day!
