Remember Dalton Parva well. My Late Nan and Grandad use to live on Bosville Street so we use to go to the little chippy at the top of the hill.
NB. Liking this thread a lot.

I assume Coopers is no more so what's the 2021 equivalent in case anyone wants to try it? 5 minute round trip would probably have allowed an 800 yard radius back in the day when we were all in our prime. That's probably down to a 250 yard radius these days, especially having to navigate around the homeless.
Born Listerdale (not posh that's just where the Maternity Hospital was)
Brought up in Kimmy Park (just across from Quibells shop), then Roughwood Road and Droppingwell
Moved to Flanderwell when I got married (missus was from Brinsworth so it was "equidistant" from both sets of Parents) then to Bramley where I appear to have taken root !
Seen most of UK with work and Rotherham ain't all that bad in comparison to a lot of places
Both Parents Rotherham born and bred
Grandparents a mixture of Rotherham, West Yorkshire and Worcestershire
I think there's a few on here , including me, that don't fit the criteria and might have to find a new team to support.
I was thinking of Torquay United based on their small ground, low fan base and they seem to have had more poor times than good. So the transition from the Millers to them should be seamless and easy.
It's only 270 miles which appears to be the same as being brought up in the sticks
If anyone's thinking of doing the same then all I'll say is WE are currently smashing up the National League
Coopers was just about do-able for me in 5 mins , one way ..the one in the indoor market :P
