Was he no on £1m a year wages at the sheep?
Just had a nosey and seemingly it’s £750k a year, £62k a month
MM on £360k so £30k a month.

This could be absolute nonsense though
That's why I highlighted McInnes time at St Johnstone, in fairness to him he did a very decent job with a small budget and that was when they were less established, they have went from strength to strength from then
The league cup performance wasn't acceptable, especially the loss to Peterhead at home, especially as we were two months into the season and they hadn't played for months so not a case of pre season and not upto speed, the cup opened up for St Johnstone who were in our group and who we bettered with the bonus point in the head to head meeting
Can't afford a poor defeat at home to Partick or Cowdenbeath in the big cup... Even if league wise comfortably we look like staying in the division
Referencing the wages stuff, there’s no way that either MM or McInnes are/were on those sort of wages. I seem to recollect that the Snake baulked at renewing Pedro’s £250k a year contract (that funnily enough got ‘leaked’ to the press strangely) which precipitated his resignation and i.i.r.c. he was allegedly the third highest paid manager in Scottish Football back then. No way would it have jumped to those sort of figures in that space of time.........
To put in perspective Aberdeen have scored one goal in 9 games or something and just broken a club record for lack of goals, and at st Johnstone he got through a league season scoring 23 goals. He’d make neilson’s teams look like the Dutch total football sides of the 70s.
