Loved watching that, and a better goal than I thought at the time. He controls it with his right, and finishes with his left. As we saw today, a bit of class like that in a crowded penalty box can make all the difference.Quote:

There wasn’t a lot to do, but he refereed that excellently today. He always comes across as a bit big time, making very obviously overt gestures, a la Clattenburg, but thought that really controlled the game well.

Refereeing is hard, and they get lots of stick and I worry when we get Drysdale because he’s generally poor. But fair play today, he was excellent.
They were so oddly set up today. Away teams either come to Notts and go full press or the ‘low block’. Even though our back three were pretty much camped on the half way line when we had the ball, Harrogate just left space everywhere.Quote:
