A little bit surprised at this because I thought the two parties would reach agreement.
The word most used by fans about GM is inconsistent. But that Alkmaar goal.
Occasions when he made a difference eg St J away last season.
But increasing his delivery wasn't good enough even if he had managed to beat his man on the outside. And sometimes ineffective.
Can we improve on him? We're about to find out.
Good luck Glenn.
So this means we will be going for a right winger so that Traps can stay out on the left. I wonder who the Goodwins have got lined up for this home grown or a foreigner? Whoever it is I hope he hits the byeline more than our two wingers did last season.
No surprise that Morris of the Sheep got their POTY. Pace and directness, keepers don't know what to do and in the final Kasper threw it into his own goal. Wingers can be poor but then they can also change the match in seconds imo.
Disappointed as always rated Middleton and he's still young and getting better imo
However not a surprise, I would imagine as has already been said that our renewal offer was less, i'm glad he's not signing for a rival, hopefully we keep tabs on him as if it doesn't work out he'll be getting offers up here again in the next year or so
Good thing is we are getting players out quickly. Allows recruitment to get the players they have identified in for start of preseason.
Not too fussed at this as while i have the memories of his goal against us for St Johnstone, and of course the cracker v Alkmaar, i just dont think he has been consistent enough to command the wages he obviously thinks he is worth.
Hopefully some inbounds to come later in the week.
Not too bothered but wish him all the best with his new club.
I feel that we have let one of our best players go...and I feel like we have let one of our worst players go! And here is where why this decision is the right one! All the best Glenn...but onwards and upwards!
From the Courier this morning the funsters have some players out of contract we could consider
Mulligan Tiffoney and Shaugnessey
Also they are signing Drey Wright (or Docherty had wanted to) and I thought he was good and very versatile for St J
