I would say the most questionable decision would be why he persists with Oli McBurnie, still can’t believe Sheffield United paid £20 million for him.

Overall Clarke has done a really good job in getting us to a tournament after 22 years without being at one.

But yes some of his decisions have been questionable, I think he needs to start bringing through some of the u21 players for the World Cup qualifiers instead of persevering with some of the players he is picking at the moment.

We sneaked into the Euros through the back door and 2 penalty shoot outs, it doesn't get any jammier than that. Unless we can find at least one half decent striker before the tournament starts, I predict we will lose every game and not even score a goal.

Don’t really know much about him but Fraser Hornby has scored 10 goals in 16 games for the Scotland u21s.

Surely he is a better option than McBurnie?

I went to the u21s v Lithuania at Tynecastle last season. One of the worst games I have ever been to.0-0 and both teams absolutely devoid of ideas

Hornby was the worst player on the pitch by a long way. I was shocked to see him having broke the U21 scoring record

A bit of the Steven Fletcher syndrome then. 10 goals, 6 v Gibraltar and 1 v Malta.

I would still say he is a better option than Oli McBurnie.
