I wouldn’t be as harsh as that G, although his stock is considerably lower now than it was while he was steering the good ship Tannadice

If our sporting director couldn't give a f*** what the club did in the 80s what the f*** is he in our club for . I don't know the guy but the way our club is going about getting a guy to manage us is pathetic and would like to know what our owner is doing about all this s*** going on
I’ve never ever been worried going into a season either, and this coming season is no different. For me there is a lot to look forward to, it’s looking like we’re getting back into Tannadice and for me this has been the hardest part since the Chinese disease arrived on our shores. Then there’s a decent crop of young Terrors coming through which will hopefully augment our team on the park. We’ll have a new management team in place and I’ll have everything fingers, toes, legs, arms and eyes crossed that they hit the ground running, whoever they are they will get my full support. And tell yiz what lads, if the fermers could do a cup double then I believe we can too, league might be just ootwith our grasp but with a wee bit luck 😉 🖤🧡🖤🧡
Well he must be a f****** clown and so must guys running our club but suppose its own guys mostly so our owner is happy to sit back and watch this shambles even thou he's put his money into it and how much does he think young guys at club will be worth in struggling team or even worse go down
This is going to be possibly the biggest gamble in the history of the Club and that is not an exaggeration. Even greater than that of the appointment of JYM. It feels like we are going all in on black on the wheel and we’d better pray it doesn’t come up red. It’s going to be either a glorious triumph or an unmitigated disaster with no other options in between.
References to the appointment of JYM are hardly comparable to what is going on just now! Back then, you had a set up where a long serving manager had been scouting out his successor for many years before, and when the time came, there was only one man for the job!
One massive difference in the timeline Johnston Grant and George Fox were massively invested in Dundee United Football Club and understood football and what it meant to their support.
The Big Man is a HUN with NO interest in the Dundee United of the 80's and probably would not appoint Jim McLean if he was available today due to his wage demands.
