Bit harsh. Wouldn't surprise me if they offered him more money than Rooney or Shinnie.

Not really harsh at all. All I'm basing my assumption on is from speaking with an ex player who informed me that under normal circumstances your captain and goal scorers are usually the top paid players in the squad.
Why would AFC upset that by bringing in someone who has played very little football and offer him more? Or ultimately cost the club more wages for the likes of Rooney and Shinnie who more than likely have clauses in their contracts that keep them at the top.
I've seen nothing in the press or anywhere other than on here that suggests AFC were/are prepared to make GMS the highest earner at the club.
How the hell did we got for Maloney, Moult, GMS, May and end up with the high flyer Fraser Fyvie returning?
I don't think there is any suggestion that Fyfie is going to get signed. Is he not just training with us as he is living in Aberdeen and without a club right now ?
I thought that had fallen through and the rumour mill was suggesting he had started speaking with Hibs again I don't think he is dreadful. Although he was in the Semi Final.. If we did resign him it would surely just be as a squad filler and I think he values himself wages wise as bit more than that as evidenced by his dealings with hibs and utd.
Not signing as being reported in EE. Good.
