Been a great window so far. Whoever we sign will be with Bielsa’s blessing and if anywhere near Rodrigo or Koch’s level should be good.
Wonder how long before Geldardt or Greenwood see minutes both looking good in the 23s

I don't know about money either, but am sure the board do, many deals are finalised on last day....
Transfer deadline day is on Monday October 5. However, to give clubs more time in the age of coronavirus, they will be able to do domestic transfers up until October 16. This will be for loans or permanent transfers between Premier League and EFL clubs.
Why is he after attackers as we have too many as is now. Midfield is where he should be looking at as he has been forget attackers.
We have wingers harrison dallas allioski Pav and costa than Bamf and rod thats heaps. And if something does happen to the 2 strikers Greenwood and giel can do the job.
One mid and proper right back and we should be set.
Raphinha - any work permit delays can be overcome if we want him in pronto before looking to any possible domestic league alternatives like James or Cantwell. On the plus side he has duel citizenship of Brazil/Italy.I live close to Rennes, capital of Brittany, the locals here are not surprised a big move to PL has cropped up for their winger/midfielder who is useful with both feet by all account in his short time there.

In my experience as a translator,UK Visas and Immigration can quickly make a decision on any 'super priority visa application' and do quickly contact you to let you know that your passport is ready to be collected within 24 hours from when you submit your biometric information. So the deal could be on if the required documents have all been translated in advance, checked and submitted by deadline online.

(Biometric information means you'll be asked to provide your fingerprints and photo as part of your visa or immigration application so just need to have a digital photo taken of your face, then put your fingers on a glass screen to be scanned and give your signature).

Of those you name, Meslier was never in the Academy, he was brought in on loan as No.2 to Casilla in August 2019, and as we all know he finished the season as 1st choice GK. Poveda joined Leeds during the winter transfer window, and was given the 1st team No. 7 shirt, made his 1st team debut in June this year, hardly a significant period in the "academy" being groomed for 1st team exposure?
I never said that the Academy was irrelevant, simply that getting into the 1st team via that route is difficult, to say the least (as an example, Struijk spent over 2 years getting to the point where he got 1st team time, January 2018 to December 2019 when he played against Hull, for 2 minutes!), and questioning hust how significant it might be in this, our first season back in the PL. And stop name calling, makes you look juvenile ;D
WTF, with all due respect, your arguments are difficult to follow because they are contradictory. On one hand you say Meslier and Poveda hardly spent a "significant" amount of time in the academy, but then you imply that Struijk has spent too long. You really cannot have it both ways. If meslier and poveda had spent any longer you probably would have said Orta had misspent money on dross. And struijk was only 18 when he joined. But to the point of the academy producing players, you are forgetting shackleton and Clarke. I do enjoy your posts wtf because its your honest opinion and which sometimes differs from others. But this one seemed self contradictory.
