You're right. But not every other club pays their manager, allegedly, the 13th highest salary in the world.Quote:

We have resourced this manager well. And oddly enough, imo, he achieved more when he was under resourced in his first two seasons.
Since he has been given a decent "war chest" he has by and large squandered it. Carroll, Jarvis, Maiga represent around 30 million down the toilet. And that's just the transfer fee and takes no account of s
WHU. I don't necessarily agree with your point of view but I understand why you have it and I respect that.
Why can you not respect other people's points of view ? We ALL support the club. We all have differing opinions but that's what makes the forum work.
It's not fair to criticise others points of view by slagging them off. By all means put your points across but don't slay other West Ham fans for having different views.
I thought the OP was hardly aggressive.
I dont think its so much the OPS point of view, although he doesnt agree with it, its more the past and the way in which he has tried to put them across. Dont just look at this thread look at others.
This one isnt so bad, but in past posts the OP has come across as condescending which in itself says to a degree that his own opinion is right.
It has stuck.
There are optimists pessimists and realists, all are right at some time.
Agree, its not what ammeread said but they way that he said it, plus previous form has gone against him.Quote:

Any anti Sam fan really wants to be proved wrong I guess. Perhaps I shouldn't speak for others (something ammeread is keen to do), but I certainly do. I miss going to games, miss the excitement of a

That's why I posters have reacted aggressively to him on this thread.
[quote="ammeread"]Sam Allardyce the most hated man in East London some of it he's brought upon himself admittedly, some of it I believe is unwarranted.
Allardyce was brought to this club during a period of turmoil some of the worst times in our clubs history . He was asked to steady the ship. He steadied the ship. He was asked to get us promoted within two seasons . He got us promoted in one. He was asked to keep us up. He kept us up. He was asked to keep us up again he kept us up again.
He has done everything he was employed to do. He has done everything the board asked of him. Yes he has upset people along the way. He's made stupid and disrespectful comments in some people's eyes .He has played mainly boring football,he plays the percentages far too much and he's generally void of a plan B.
On the other hand he has been largely forced into some decisions by injuries and the players he has had at his disposal.
So here we are today . Now is the time for
