Salford City Post Match Thoughts

Saw the Brentford v Wycombe game today.

Half time it was 1-0 to Brentford. 3 minutes into the second half Wycombe were down to 10 men with a straight red given for a nasty tackle and rightly so. From then on I thought Brentford would run riot with Ivan Toney playing up front.

Absolute credit to Wycombe they really made a game of it and played some great football, mainly down the left. Their new signing bagged a goal to make it 1-1 but, they lost out in the penalty shoot out. With what I saw, and what I saw of our make shift side yesterday, we are in for a tough game next Saturday. Hope Mr Warne watched the Wycombe game and took onboard their set up in readiness.

More importantly, he needs to partner Sadlier with Crooks in midfield.

I played at Stocksbridge mate for 5 yes while Vardy was in the youth team and keep in contact with chairman so know for a fact it was because Rufc wouldn’t pay the money, probably also because contract length was better for vardy 😂😂

Sorry Your right about manager mate, it was Ronnie who asked about me while I was at Stocksbridge but cried off when he found out I was 34 😂😂😂
