Not Bielsa. The Golden rule....never go back. Klopp may be available soon. Ponchetino, IMHO, would be great, but unlikely. Postecoglu is not good enough for Leeds. Gerrard has eyes on one job, and it ain't this one. Can't see the board doing anything out of the ordinary. Too much at stake.
Neither has anyone else, apart from our board apparently, although in fairness his Wiki entry states the following;
"At the end of this first season, the 2021–22 season, Slot was awarded the Rinus Michels Award for the Eredivisie Manager of the Year beating off Erik ten Hag (Ajax), Ron Jans (FC Twente), Joseph Oosting (RKC Waalwijk) and Kees van Wonderen (Go Ahead Eagles)." Make of that what you will.
Let’s hope we hit the jackpot with him.
Reading the DaiyTelegraph online today its stating "After talks with Carlos Corberan broke down over the length of a potential deal, Leeds have two managers in mind to replace Jesse Marsch" now.
Twitter stating Radz flew in to London this morning by private jet.
Interesting to know what length of contract Leeds are actually offering.
Asked on Twitter about 'white smoke yet' ?
He's just replied ".NOT YET ..... need more time".
Mmm.
woke up. As was told to look out for the smoke but could not see the fire. Waste of time getting the water ready :(
There's a "The Boot Room" article relating to possible new manager, featuring Iraola, and they quote scouting outlet Breaking the Lines who last year said;
"His philosophy is refreshingly high risk, high reward, relying squarely on athleticism and commitment to maintain some sort of order within the chaos, whereby attacks are full-blooded and direct, and defence is immediate and aggressive.”
Sound horribly familiar.
