Crowley shouldn't be demanding the ball there
Then gets brushed off so easily
It happens too often
Shocking game all round but that was unforgivable

This season is derailing and i think questions again have to be asked about recruitment. We needed better than Tsaroulla and Gordon. WB is a key area in our side and those two are very average players. Martin and Brown have proved to be ineffectual panic signings and i expect them both to leave in Jan. Our midfield is extremely lightweight and has been for years. We never seem to learn. We replaced our defence but the same mistakes keep happening because of our suicidal approach to defending.
The head coach is very dubious. He was lucky to keep his job last season and we are now dropping like a stone again. I'm not confident of us beating anybody ATM.
At least the stats lovers will like our 58.7% to their 41.3% possession for the 1st half
That was utter dross. The first goal was an abomination by Bass, but frankly it's what will happen every so often when you ask goalkeepers to do something goalkeepers aren't specialist at doing. Let keepers keep and footballers play football.
Aside from that though, we've just looked second best, scrappy and often disorganised. Salford aren't doing anything special, just getting in our faces on a rough pitch, and instead of playing to the conditions we're messing about and giving them all the encouragement they need.
Best thing you can say about that half is that we surely can't get worse. Got to stop involving Bass in the play as much though, because his confidence levels look to be dropping by the minute. He's still a good goalkeeper, but we're gradually scrambling his brain.
Back to basics.
What team will turn up 2nd half??
I've watched it back 3 times and in slow motion when Crowley runs towards goal asking for the ball the Salford player is 3 yards away but Crowley was to slow, when he realised they scored he feigned an injury.
Bass has looked iffy I admit but they are told to play that way so blame the coaching staff.
