Hope your right, although I imagine his agent will tell him to sit tight for a year and get a nice signing on bonus when he moves for free next year. Assuming we don't accept an offer this window or next

The defender might be one that can cover at RB, unless they feel the young lad they signed from Everton can do that.
Maloney? hmmmm......massive gamble with his injury record. No problem in terms of ability, but how many games will we get?
And another striker - assume it would be Moult? Cash & Storey maybe?

Fair point RST would like to think it was to protect the transfer fee, as many have said on this thread already cash plus Storey just might get this over the line, but then again is Storey going to be given a chance by DM as it has never happened for him since he came on board and I think most of us will agree there was a player in there once upon a time and at the time oh signing most folks thought it was a good signing for the club. It's strange what has happened to him.......... but for me its all about growing on and building on the decent season we had last season, so offer cash plus storey to get this deal over the line.

I heard that Maloney was either signing for us or retiring. Depending on the extent of the injury.

Maloney for me is a no brainer really....we might not need him but he is a great asset to have in the ranks assuming he is not going to be on the table all season stealing a wage from someone.
