Why do you keep saying massive?
Jones, O'C and Shola would probably expect to start in Nolo's first Xl so their injuries effect the team. Not a massive injury list, as far as I know, but definitely a significant one :)

That was dreadful performance. We have had a great start to the season by making it hard work for the opposition, but we gifted the points to Stags last week and nearly did the same today. We looked half asleep and won very few of the 50/50 challenges. It looks like the players fell into the trap the supporters did by looking at league positions and expecting an easy win. A big improvement is needed next week because we were never in the game today, and can consider ourselves fortunate to end up with a point.
The players need to get back to the raw meat diet Nolan was presumably feeding them on until the Mansfield game. Today we just weren't pressing the opposition and snapping into tackles like we have, and we were moving the ball far too slowly. It was easy for Forest Green to play against.
The stage was set for a banana skin today. The largest Notts crowd for many a year, and top verses bottom of the league.
I think this team gets stage fright in big games or in front of a big audience. Against Coventry, Mansfield and FGR. Also since we have been top we have lost and drawn. So let Exeter take top spot for now and be the team to beat. This squad will need to learn to deal with the pressure and expectation that comes with being near the top of the table.
Overall it was by far the worst performance of the season. Early on for the first twenty minutes it was pretty even but as the game wore on FGR confidence grew and at times they were passing us off the park. It took us 44 minutes to have a meaningful attempt at goal. The first part of the second half we upped our game but again we lacked that edge. At times it was difficult to tell who was the league leaders and who was bottom in this game.
FGR will feel sick to the stomach to only get a point from that game because we deserved nothing. However the positive is that for as poor as we were we still managed to grind out a result and get a point.
A significant number of our players were off their game today and Forte was one of the only players who could leave the field at the end of the game having put a performance in that we've come to expect from a Nolan side.
Maybe these past two weeks might simmer expectations and we can get back to winning ways next week against Barnet.
