When I saw Vyner at right back at St Mirren he looked poor.
I’ll cut him slack as it was his first game & the area of the pitch he played in during the 2nd half was almost unplayable.
Devlin is never fit & aside from the first 3 months of last season, he’s been bang average too.
We will win no bother but that's a team that Calderwood would have been happy with.

Vyner Devlin Considine Leigh

Cosgrove
Bench includes - McLennan, Wright, Anderson, Main and Wilson
The midfield 3 offer no creativity - I'm expecting another dull, boring, tight, hit and hope performance. Disappointed that Wilson is ditched having been our only reasonably bright attacking player in the previous game. All too predictable from McInnes. On paper the midfield and attack looks ok, but in reality it doesn't work. Sacrifice one of the midfield 3 and play Anderson or Wilson alongside Cosgrove, or even Wright in behind him.
8 defensive minded players picked for a home game. You would think we were playing Man City at home not a team that last week got thrashed at home by a very average Livi team.
Unbelievable, just unbelievable
McInnes on the BBC
"What we've got is a decent back four there. We should be very strong there. It's probably the most attacking bench I've put out, we've plenty of attacking threat on the pitch."
Is this man for real? 8 defensive minded players on the pitch and there's plenty of attacking threat???
I'm struggling to notice much difference between this games "attacking threat" and previous games where we've struggled to create never mind score
Cosgrove just missed a sitter
RedTV commentary excellent as usual: "Ye canny blame Cosgrove for missing" when he had the entire goal to aim at apart fae the one defender on the line. Give me strength...
