What kind of trial is Greaves doing? Non-playing? How can you judge him from that!
Masbroughstreet Onariase wasn't one of my boys. Said I didn't rate him from day 1!

Here's a thought, how about supporting the players who are actually in the team, that's what most of us do.
Give it a go,you might enjoy it.
The club made a decision on greaves at end of last season…the invite back can/could involve him just getting fit and helping him find another club or if the club feels they can offer him something they could, but I would say unlikely..also the player might feel his opportunities will be limited so he might feel elsewhere is best too …as supporters we can’t do a lot about decisions on players….though some wish they could.!.
Perhaps we are aiming at being better than a staying up Championship team and they share that vision?
Perhaps they have signed for us knowing they will have a better chance of consistent first team football and they see how that will benefit them in the long run. With both us and potential future moves.
And at the end of the day we all look at players differently. Hence why there are always hidden gems signed for peanuts who then become stars. All about what people see in them and no player holds the same value / appeal across the board.
Look at someone like Humphreys. Some will have looked and not fancied, some will have looked and shortlisted, some will have looked at him and then their squad with a first chance centre back partnership and thought 'not a priority', some will have said to him that he will be a squad player, some will have been slow off the mark and missed the boat, some will have needed to offload before attempting to recruit. We didn't. We see value, we can offer first team football, barring bad form or injury, we can show him a pathway to success with us and beyond if he reaches heights higher than where we can get.
Just because RUFC make a signing in this division, it does not always mean it is because nobody else fancies them and we are the only option. Sometimes it probably will but not everytime by any stretch.
Get behind the positive signings and lets have a bloody good season. UTM
In reality they delayed making a decision on him at the end of last season. You can take a horse to water but you you can't make it drink. Therein lies the problem.
If he's in proper shape and applies himself they'll give him another chance. He's too good not to. Talent alone is not enough.
