Terrific that you're magnanimous in victory. I actually hoped he would rip you a new one, but we don't always get what we hope for.

Yeah, I got that bit, was more aimed at the Notts poster and those around me last night who were saying he's crap.
Some people still haven't learned with this regime to trust the process. If they think a player's good enough, he more often than not is.
Chicksen's having an amazing season and is obviously integral to what LW wants. One thing he doesn't do as much as whoever plays on the right is take people on. I think LW wants that as an option/alternative.
Any player looks better in a good team, ever heard the saying if the tide rises all boats rise?
However if LW thinks Bridge is a good player I trust his judgement. LW must see a way that Bridge could compliment or offer something to our team.
Also LW has done nothing wrong, he simply expressed interest in the player, but Southend have said he is not for sale which they are quite within their rights to do.
It goes back to the away fixture. Believe me, he was clear MoM - kind of terrorised our team for the whole match.
Maybe he didn't try too hard so as to not damage his chances of being a League 2 player next season? XD
Rootshallbloke, I think I would have been inclined to be more magnanimous, if there hadn't been so much flak coming our way over the Bridge transfer rumours. You couldn't wish to meet a more fair and honest guy/coach then Luke Williams, and for him and Notts to be painted as the bad guys, (not saying Southend were, more likely agents or journalists) just annoyed me. I actually thought we marked Bridge out of the game, by sticking two players on him, because we obviously rate him. I also think you/Southend played as well as any team has at the Lane this season. Which without meaning to sound patronising makes our win/performance even better. There you go that is me being magnanimous ;D
Hope you get new owners, and beat Wrexham for us, ta.
As they say, that will do nicelyO:) Bridgey is a very decent player, and he would probably add something to your squad that you don't have at the moment, otherwise why would your manager be interested. For the moment we (SUFC) will have to settle for getting past 1st March without being wound up and keeping our squad together. If that is achievable (and I think it will be) then the next step is for you guys and Wrexham to bugger off to FL2 to give us a more decent chance next season. I wish you all the best in the most magnanimous way possible.
