In short, hitherto semi-reformed pant-pishers are back on full jet.
I could be mistaken but pretty sure I noticed Nisbet laughing/smiling with a Killie player seconds after the full time whistle, while I can understand if he's a friend of his it doesn't excuse that behaviour after the team just got skelped 4-0.
Jeezo....
OK, Jimmy T is here as a "long term project" that was always the plan.
There was also noise about the time he needed to turn Elfsborg into the very good side they became.
In some ways the start we had was the worst thing could've happened to us. It raised expectations to a silly level, though it galvanised the fanbase also.
But we've been running on the same squad as last year, which was overall bang average on a good day, but without the best player and his twenty-five goals or whatever it was.
I think we'll see this Latvian boy, and possibly another defender, in the door before the decorations are down.
Hopefully a striker.
Nisbett is a funny one.
Started well but seems wholly disinterested now.
Hopefully Jimmy and our new scout guy will unearth some diamonds in the rough.
The good thing about today was, in spite of his whole calm persona, Jimmy was obviously absolutely f-ing beeling today.
Hopefully he papered the walls with the spineless cu nts today.
Aye Moog I will admit to be more than just a tad emotional and beyond p1ssed off watching that utter mince last night it was beyond pathetic.
I guess my blood pressure was rising from the minute i seen Ambrose in the starting 11, he really does need to find another profession as he will never be a football player, never.
Thelin has had a decent start, and we could all tell how p1ssed off and probably embarrassed he was after that last night.
Yes we need to stick by him and yes colgate and the FMB need to back him and get behind in January.
He is a long term project and we are ahead of the curve as far as where we all though we might be at this point in the project.
Made it worse last night with the dead team also getting beat, we could have been back into second place if we had turned up and pit ina shift, but we didn't but I somehow don't think with Jimmy at the helm we will be subject to anything similar to that sh1t ever again.
Cmon Jimmy min sort this sh1t oot
If he?s disinterested he should try refereeing and take Ambrosia with him as an assistant - if he?s uninterested he can go back to his parent club, pronto. Either way, we need new signings in the door as if the recent trajectory is followed, we?re going nowhere fast and will be lucky to make the op six - that would have been unthinkable a month or two ago.
For what it?s worth, over time I?ve come to the view that football, like many other things, comes down to very fine margins. In the same way that the differences between a successful and an unsuccessful player can be quite small, so too with teams.
This is the basically same team (bar Gueye) that was toasted for that long winning run. It?s the same manager. It?s largely the same team that we put out last year. They?ve not gone from world beaters to dross overnight and nor has Thelin.
It?s clear we have a problem at the back and up front. Put Miovski into that team and we?d have beaten Hibs. I think even with Adam Rooney or possibly Scott Vernon we?d have beaten Hibs.
Likewise with a Liam Scales or a Matty Pollock we might have beaten Kilmarnock.
We have a shed load of attacking talent in midfield. Our defensive midfielders would walk into most other teams in our league. Looks like we have two decent goalies.
It?s been **** the last few weeks, no doubt about that. But I find it remarkable that anyone would be calling for the manager?s head. We over performed, now we?re under performing.
Jings, just watch the Fergie documentary to get some perspective on the fact that any team can go through bad periods even with an outstanding manager. His work here has hardly begun.
In Jimmy we trust.
Good man BUS.
Nothing wrang wi a bit of emotion - that yesterday was a shameful embarrassment - but just look at Jimmys interview, he was clearly as disgusted as the rest of us wi that.
Ive not been impressed wi Ambrose either - but I take some comfort fae the fact that the last striker we had that you said was never a fitba plaaar & needed a new profession, ended up scoring a shedload of goals and got sold for 2million quid 😉
Maybe lightning can strike twice. Probs not, but we can dream.
