Yes i read somewhere PW expects we will have to wait until the prem clubs have done their business and then some loans might become available.
I'm sure Steve Bruce will take his time in deciding what's best Newcastle for the Barlasser loan or not. A bad outcome would be that he was released for a loan stint but signs for another club
Also some out of contract players might not get fixed up and will lower their demands once the season has started

Think the barlaser thing is panning out abit like towell situation the other year.lots of interest from us after a successful first spell,then didn’t look like it would happen,then it was on again but Brighton wanted a permanent transfer,then suddenly at last minute came back on loan.

Warne wanted to replace Yates. So yes we will be bringing in another striker, most likely a young PL loan, or possibly a permanent if we think we can add value. We're not going to sign an older player like Leon Clarke.
