Deliberate typo for an analogy with Ron Manager? Good one - same level of platitudes. I think you should forgive him the gushing. I presume he is hired by BT Sport (as he is by RedTV) to be the home commentator rather than an impartial voice.
However, I also wish he would GTF from RedTV but because of his inability to come up with anything bar the totally obvious. “Can Aberdeen get a goal back in the next few minutes and set up a thrilling finale?”; ‘’One goal is hard enough but a two goal deficit is a mountain to climb”; “If Aberdeen can get a goal blah, blah, blah”. These considerations are likely to have registered without his astute analysis even by those watching/listening nearing a brain death diagnosis (i.e. Sunday lunchtime game after Saturday night out). If there is nothing meaningful to say (and don’t fall back on the BBC Opta-supplied statistics, only 27% of the time Team A lost the first goal did they go on to win) just shut up.
There is a balance to be struck when commentating both for those with pictures and those without. Neither contingent deserves listening to absolute ****e.
From Invergordon, espouses Ross County, really a hun.
St Johnstone are 0-2 down, so we won't be going bottom of the league, unless Ross County beat us by three goals tomorrow.
I see Rangers are struggling to a 1-0 win at home. No doubt they're saving themselves for their cup final next week.
Would someone explain to dimwit Leanne Crighton that "This league never fails to disappoint" doesn't mean what she thinks it means. She said it after both the sellick and sevco games today.
Oh, hud on, maybe she does know.
It's also annoying that they say "Rangers's pumping at home to the Dons leaves them seven points behind the manky Tims". As if there isn't another team between them in the table.
Septic losing in the 96th minute XD
Yaaaasssss
Celtic really have to learn to play until the final whistle.
