I had a look at how we fared against each team according to the final table. Here are the results:

It's not easy to see a pattern, but we averaged 2.36/6pts. against teams in the top half of the table, and 3.67/6pts. against those in the bottom half, so I suppose that is about what you would expect. In the

A lot of 3+ points there Aucks, however if we want to be getting promotion next season we need to not throw away 2+ goal leads as often as we have done this season.

I didn't stay for the lap of honour either as to applaud a Manager and a team that surrendered our 35 year unbeaten record as if they'd achieved something would make me barf :( But never mind we will win the league at a canter next year eh?

FC - that is ridiculously over the top, and I suspect you know it. Of course there have been frustrations and disappointments, but what solution do you think could have been found, this season, to turn us, immediately, into Leicester?
If you want to focus only on the Burnley result, that's up to you. but it is a staggeringly narrow view. And is it really a surprise that we dropped more points against top-half clubs than against those below us?

Surrender a 35 year record...I bet you used to stay and applaud when we bought success didn't you?

Well done to Burnley, at least they got up on their own merits. We didn't, but it has spawned this kind of *******s.

As said, given our previous two seasons and season kick off expectations/aspirations we are pretty much where the vast majority expected and if anything probably in much better nick than we could have hoped.
The only downside being GB not determining his best optimum set up / tactic until too late in the campaign (but that's the learning curve for you).
As for we lost to BFC (the worlds coming to an end :? ) So what, we were beaten fair and square, that's sport, and what really galls the less intelligent of the BFC support is the fact that the vast majority of our support recognise that and therefore congratulate them.
Next season is a clean slate and a whole new ball game, so bring it on.
Our situation, re; FFP intervention is something that we have to deal with, and so be it. The eventual squad for 2014/15 will be what it will be, so we just have to get on with it.
