Open Letter:
Now that the season has ended, we would like to put on record our thanks to Gary Bowyer and the players for their hard work and dedication in what was a season of stability and one in which we could see real progress and promise for the future.
You the fans, too, have played a huge part in that and we want to say a special thank you for the support and commitment you have once again shown to Blackburn Rovers.
Many supporters have contacted us this season in recognition of the hard work and passion of the team and that has been welcomed.
Our family is fully aware of how difficult the past few years have been for everyone who has affection for our great club, we are deeply sorry we haven't, so far, been able to bring the success we all desire for Rovers.
That said, our commitment has and will not waiver. We have learned some very valuable and costly lessons in our quest to make you, the fans, happy and proud of Rovers and the desire to achieve our mutual dream will ben
Had they said "they were deeply sorry" and left it at that it would have been better.
Can't knock it, I have been one of their biggest opposer since they rolled up. It's about time they apologised for something. Even if it's not the monumental phuck up that they have resided over.
This seems to insinuate that they are backing Bowyer for the long haul, which is good for the team, for stability and for the future. Looks like we can look forward with a glint of optimism.

XD
I think we could not realistically have asked for more.
They have apologised.
They have confirmed continued investment.
They have finally recognised the importance of stability.
They have acknowledged that FFP is going to be a challenge.
They are backing GB.
I honestly can't see other buyers coming in who are more to the fans' taste, so I think it's time for a wary forgive and forget. I know that won't be popular, but sometimes, you just have to move on and make the best of a bad job.
it`s not this season just ended they needed to apologise for, as for me, i can`t have any complaints about their actions the season just gone..
continue in the same vein and the club will regain a degree of success it previously enjoyed i`m sure.
It doesn't take much to apologise when you have totally and utterly ****ed up but they just won't do it.Quote:
