Lee molyneux
Thoughts about lee molyneux. For me I don't think he is anywhere near good enough for our side, and that's saying something. Against rochdale he didn't do a lot, gave away possession to much and contributed to little. Today against swindon he was at fault for second goal, ball played to him down the wing, he loses it and we are 2-0 down

re: Lee molyneux
I be very HAPPY if I never saw another Academy player in the team again, any family will tell you That you get nothing done with all those kids under your feet.
The defence is WEAK the Midfield is Weak the forward line is Weak. The Management is weak, the Directors are weak.
The bookies saw it coming, Most supporters saw it coming, even Radio Stoke saw it coming, but the Management never!!!

re: Lee molyneux
I agree apart from never seeing an academy player again. Wouldn't you be happy to see Powell Murph and Westy in the line up Tuesday.

Your dreaming am talking about the future IF we have One?

re: Lee molyneux
We would then have to buy players, but we know how small our budget is. Would like to know where that money from those 3 players went.

But back to my original question, what are peoples thoughts on Molyneux

re: Lee molyneux
Showed up well in pre-season but has disappointed since getting back into the team. Occasional glimpses of skill are undone by poor decisions when under pressure. I'd rather young Cooper be given a go if Moly isn't going to cut it.

re: Lee molyneux
What do I think ?, I think this is a ridiculous thread, you could do the same for most of the players, so why pick on an easy target. If this lad wasnt trying he would not have turned up in pre season.
im more interested in how an inexperienced manager who repotrdly has put his own hand in his pocket as Accy have less money than us (james beattie) can twice have this lad at his club and turn him into a game winning player, wheras as under SD...
it wont be that its L2, I dont buy that at all.
maybe that other thread about Max's loyalty and why he hasnt crawled over broken glass back to us is starting to become clearer with every game.
only needs Mike SB to somehow link Molyneuxs performance to probably having set foot into Reaseheath as a youngster 10 years ago when playing for Evertons academy to be the tenuous reason for his performance to complete the circle of incredulity.
Apologies for being so curt, but totally f'd off at some attitudes here.

re: Lee molyneux
I've said, I feel sorry for the players who are expected to play at a level many of them seem unable to. Why, that's the question? Inexperience, scared of making mistakes, not being allowed to express themselves? Steve said its no use getting on their backs after yesterday and so he probably thinks the same way. He must be as frustrated as us.
The key is an experienced midfield and we haven't had that for some years. Grant is OK but doesn't create much and very rarely shoots from distance. Spends too much time around the half way line for me as the others do. I don't know whether SD can alter a players natural perception as where to play? He knows we only had one attempt at goal yesterday in 90 mins. I can't believe that was his tactics or intention. Is zonal marking the problem? Telling young players not to do this or that etc. Its probably doesn't happen that way in academy matches and so they express themselves more freely and why we perform better. But we are up against better t
