2) Our training regime is 'not quite right', therefore questions over our staff 'involved'.
What training ? ..i believe the players not on international duty were told to go on holiday and "recharge their batteries" ? ..yeah four games into the season ..
you d think we d have been working hard on the trainin pitch after the wolves game ..then again ..maybe safer to send them on holiday rather than train and risk injuries like we seem to incur on a regular basis ! XD
re: Chris Brown 'absence'
It must have come to light that he was struggling with knee problems so well spotted training staff.
We can now look forward to having a super-striker available for christmas to give us the push needed for going up as champions.
Then I woke up :blue:

This is happening far too often.
It is happening far too often, far far too often. I don't go to training, so I don't know, but the injury list has been bloody stupid for over a year now, and they don't seem to be hurting themselves in matches.
re: Chris Brown 'absence'
I don't go to training,
...i noticed Dan ...;D XD
re: Chris Brown 'absence'
Over exuberance to impress the manager in training maybe?you don't get noticed by doing a gentle jog I do agree with you both something is not quite right with the training/fitness however I don't think as a team we have been great fitness wise since Hughes he had us highly tuned.
re: Chris Brown 'absence'
Well said, robinrover. I remember the sheer ENERGY we had as a team under Hughes...and how it disappeared after he left.
Also Burnleys threadbare,money-saving squad went through the entire season with very few injuries last season...I think Gary Bowyer would have needed double
Burnleys playing staff for the same results. :? :blue
Maybe we should watch Burnley in training(not as silly as it sounds)??

Arsenal, Liverpool etc etc all have bad injuries (alot get them while away on international duty) I can't see any of those clubs watching how Burnley train.
Do you not just think they got incredibly lucky to get virtually no injuries? As in a complete fluke. Now they are getting injuries (Vokes, Ings) and have only 1 point and scored one goal.
Injuries affect every single side, the more you get, the more it hits you. Burnley got hardly any last season, and it helped. Now they have a few, they are struggling.
Can we get ver
re: Chris Brown 'absence'
The lad we bought came with an injury, before we bought him. It really is that simple. He will regain fitness in time. If he was fit, he wouldnt have played anyway, as he wont be starting before Gestede or Rhodes, so the point is a mute one.
Hmm..not really a mute point Champs ..the idea of having a squad of players is to have players that can come off the bench to replace players and maybe change games ..the lad was bought (GB obviously seen something in him ) with an injury and now out for a minimum of 6 weeks ..so a total of 9 weeks without him..not really a good scenario ..Maybe a gamble buying him or just bad luck .?
I agree with you on the injuries front.. can happen at any time ..

It is for me mate (a mute point) we have played 6 games of a missively long season. 6 games is nothing. I'd much prefer the players to be fit going into the season ahead, than all fit now. It was a gamble, but if he was to be fit and ready from
