By a very slick Derby side for 70 minutes . In the last twenty you could see them wilting and if we could have scored earlier maybe just maybe we could have got an undeserved draw .
Best team I`ve seen down Ewood for a season and a half .

Yes and yes they are. Their fans let them down by not singing 'it's just like watching Brazil.' Their work rate was huge and their general play was excellent and good to watch, (unfourtunately). Good fightback from our lads in the last 15. There is some hope.
Spot on Needle the result flattered us ..and as you say Derby dropped ten yards at the end yet still had a couple of chances to score even more ..Quote:

Pretty football, possession stats through the roof but still concede two goals.
Has anyone found the weakness yet? :D
And the weakness is what? Do tell us Stan.
Ram Stan is a dingle hence his comment
Just want to say that was the most bright, pacey, intelligent and incisive football seen at Ewood since the premiership. Well done for Mclaren in creating a team that played with such confidence and pace especially after the early setback
Meanwhile Bowyer plays ponderous , stand off tactics with a defence that donates two goals a game to our opponents.
That was a footballing lesson for Bowyer last night and shows how little we have improved in 12 months. Same issues, same goals against and same league position. Midfield cannot control a game. Evans and Conway were uninfluentia and no service to Rhodes.
We said last year he needed to learn quickly. Well he hasn't
2 - 3 flattered us.
How refreshing is that coming from another forum fair play to you.Quote:

He won't be
Out of country and now aware of outcome and going off comments on here seems to suggest my continued concerns over GB's nerve and nous may need to remain for a while yet, or does it?
I am picking up on our 'holding back' , less than influential mid, and ponderous defence (Hanley?).
However, I am reading much praise heaped on the Rams, so it was far from a 'easy encounter'.
It's really good to see the opposition support comin on and thanking us for our (your) honest appraisal of the match. Long may that continue :D
