JR - I've just read about that too.
Off-topic, in the same report, we hear yet again that a player can't be chosen because "his head is not in the right place." (This time, Forest's Michail Antonio).
Nothing makes me spit more feathers! Where do you need your head to be to run out on a football-field for about ten or fifteen thousand quid a week?
I suggest he should try working down a mine. (Oh no, of course, Thatcher closed them all).
I know, Doctor. CALM, Calm, calm...
Yes,Aucks,VERY off-topic.
I think Margaret Thatcher was the best P.M. over the last 50 years ...couldnt fault her.........everyone has a right to their own opinion.........even supporting Burnley :D :D
If everyone has a right to their own opinion...........I think you are a twohat XD XD XD
I think most people in Blackburn are red-hot Labour,Pat.....
I often wonder how many of the people who go on about Thatcher closing the pits would be prepared to go and make a living down one, my dad did, things will have improved since he did but still not a job I would consider.
The thing is, Yorky, in many of the mining-communities, there was no other choice, so when the mines closed, it wasn't just a case of lost jobs; it was a case of whole towns and villages being destroyed. Ask anyone from Consett, for example.
As for Bob saying she was the best PM in the last 50 years, the only bit of "PM" connected to her I applauded was her Post Mortem.
Fact is Aucks, the unions were running the country calling strikes when they wanted......Margaret Thatcher stopped all that.
I say she was right to.Bang on. And that,as someone who was on low pay and long hours myself.
So what about this Andre Gray? I've not seen anything of him, so how good is he at this level?
Lansbury saga?, a bit like the Sven saga at Ewood a few years ago.
