O/T Rotherham High Street
Come on you Reds!!!!! Get voting for Rotherham High Street in the Great British High Street competition. We have fallen from first to last place in the last few weeks (sound familiar?). Altrincham and Tamworth are getting voters out in numbers. Even our beloved Prime Minister has voted (not for Rotherham obviously).
You can vote every day on the link below. Put one up Cameron and co!! - view external link

I was very impressed with what is still work in progress when I visited the other week.
Another improvement will be when Caprice moves up the road and the existing shop gets renovated.
re: O/T Rotherham High Street
A new food store is to open in the next few weeks in the empty What boys want store but the really exciting improvement will be when Craft Corner and the Bears Den open their new high street shop on the 14th November.

There's now a Slovak version of the website so the number of votes should go up.

I voted for Tamworth, it's genuinely better
re: O/T Rotherham High Street
Well weve already won the bradgate roundabout competition, (the council needed to call it rhymers roundabout for something new like rotherham by the sea etc etc) so we might as well for the super dooper high street (primark still being the biggest attraction)..also, i noticed the other day, some sort of steel thing outside the church..what is that thing? No doubt another useless waste of money like the aforesaid roundabout "ears of corn" ..and the now deceased all saints television...then we have the new m1 motorway running straight to town where people risk there lives to cross it , with its new accident bent railings and warped posts..and yet the walker graveyard still stands naglected and overgrown..in any other town this would be a focal point as part of its history...never mind..theyre thinking another one up right now..with our money..

Once had cause to visit down town and took a visit into the antique shop….
Ventured upstairs to have a look at the old timbers of the three Cranes….brilliant restoration and to see old woodworking skills…
Think Chris Hamby has done a sterling job restoring the stores he has and my vote has well and truly been voted….
