A good night

We were not as good as recently , but were better than Brum , which emphasises again that this League is about very narrow margins . First half we totally dominated and deserved our two goal lead . Second half the sub they brought on , no idea who he was , made a real impact . For much of it we just soaked up their pressure and should have had at least two more goals .
Its been along time since we have locked a game out like that , nearly all players had a good game , Hanley was my MoM and only Spurr disappointed me .
Lambert may just be on to something , but lets give him more time just yet .

According to LET.. Lambert wants prem football and be in Europe in the next 2 seasons.. I think you are right he may need more time..

One quibble: what is this on the BRFC site about there being "a lot of tired legs out there"?
Really? Aren't they super-fit athletes? They had more than three full days between games. Surely that is sufficient recovery-time!

I echo needles thoughts a total team performance looked great going forward and worked as a unit defensively
Danny Graham must be signed in the summer he is a free agent and will be ***** going forward next season along with 2 full backs they must be the priority
the one thing I must question is Tony watt he played well and scored but for the 3rd match he started on and around the 60th minute he has been hooked
surely it cannot be fitness he has played football pretty much all season.
Might need needs,Howie or Dan's match report Saturday I won't be there the kick off time makes it impossible for me to make it.

Rotherham won yet again, only takes a couple of defeats to be worried again. Need to beat Leeds.

Rotherham won't keep it up they are running on determination alone as in my opinion they are not strong enough
I would expect us to beat Leeds despite there upturn in form
if we play like last night we would be a handful for most in this league.

Fell asleep at 11 but woke at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep. Annoying.

When I do midweek games I don't get in til 1 by time I get to sleep around 2 the alarm clock is going off at 5.30
so I am jaded to say the least
caffeine keeps me going.
