Ryan Giggs
I believe he is and always has been the No1 target since day one.
I heard that the Warren Joyce thing came about due to this.
If Joyce was to take over at Rovers (which I have no issues with at all) then its believed Giggs will be offered his job at Manchester United taking over the Under 21 side.
Giggs has made no secret of the fact he would like to take over the Managers role. Mourihnio will not have him as No2. Giggs will not want to settle for the Under 21's manager, and quickly needs experience once Jose's 2 and a half years will be abruptly over (if he last's that long).
I dont think he has the experience straight away to take over a Prem side, but we could be perfect for him. And compared to alot of thes we have been linked to, I think this could be pretty exciting. More so than Keith Hill etc ......
I think owners are awaiting to see what happens at OT before making a move for Giggs. That fails, I think Joyce will come in. Personally I'd go for Giggs.

re: Ryan Giggs
Interesting thought champs and one I wouldn't be adverse to however I cannot see this happening venkys are purely taking their time as they do not know how crucial timing is
You can imagine them saying let's wait until July the season won't start until August
by then all good available managers are gone along with the half decent players
giggs to Blackburn if Carlsberg did dreams.

re: Ryan Giggs
Of all thes banded around I was quite happy with Joyce. That young, hungry manager is who we need. They will need to work with younger players, potentially we will get a number from Man U. No matter who we get in, they will be working on a very tiight budget, with loan signings and young players. Thats why a choice of either Joyce or Giggs would be perfect.
I think we will be as good for Giggs as he will be for us (potentially). If we do get Joyce, Giggs will be offered the Man U under 21's job. I feel he is better than that, and needs actual managerial experience. But not at prem level. Champ would be a perfect starting block for him. He does well at Ewood for 2 seasons, he will be considered for the next managers job at United. That wont happen if he remains the under 21 boss.
If Joyce was an option, Giggs is a much better one.
This would get most fans back on side, a bit of faith restored and we can all finally move forward.

re: Ryan Giggs
As I said on the other thread he won't be the next manager
even with not alot of people left to advise on the board I am sure who is there will say this is a extremely bad move of there is any truth whatsoever in this story.
