What's it like ?
Never been.
Used to go there a lot years ago, great place then but no idea what it's like know
Yeah me too, on mi scooter. Ingoldmells and all that. Enjoyed it then but not been back for 40 odd years.
They are usually about 20' long and 8' wide, didn't they show you a picture of it ;D
Oh, you mean Chapel St Leonards? Pretty basic with not a lot to do but it could have improved over the years. Last time I was there, must have been a long, long time ago because Leeds United were in their heyday and losing to Bayern Munich in the European Cup Final.
We had a caravan at Ingoldmells for a few years, when kids were younger had great times.
Then thecamp started shoving the rates up with a bang, started to charge for electric ( was included in fees previously ),came with new rules they do the drain off on the caravan, always did my own, so another charge, ( they took a chance & did not do the drain off on caravans, so start of season you put water on to the caravan, pipes leaking, might be waiting up to 2 weeks for the site plumber ). They then came on with a charge for checking the electric wiring in the caravan, also if you rented out a caravan you had to have a gas certificate for the van, checked by a registered gas fitter, I had a gas fitter do it private, but the camp site owner made everyone use her gas fitter.
The campsite came out with then another scam, you had to get caravan insurance through the camp site, where has we had used Vanguard a brilliant caravan insurance company, new for old policy.
After all the add ons, including metal boxes & metal steps only at the caravans, we sold the van.
On top of the fees there is the caravan shops in Ingoldmells village, who think they have a right to print money charges for caravan owners.
Maid Marion campsite used to be fantastic Crash.
Happy Days site was okay too.
Nowt wrong with Chap pal. Nice family holiday destination pal.
It's like Hooton Roberts with a bit of sand.
