Prediction League - Norwich City
Wolves will take on a former Lambert employer for the second straight week when we travel to Carrow Road for a matchup with fledgling Norwich. At the beginning of the season, they were easily one of the favorites for challenging for promotion (I think I predicted them to go up). After a solid start and sitting in first place after 12 matches, about 1/4 of the way through the season - they've fallen all the way down to 11th with a record of 3-1-9 in the last 13 matches. They are eight points away from the playoff spot. Can't imagine they fans are too happy with manager Alex Neil (nor Moxey) and a loss to their former manager could be a death blow to their season and manager.
Nelson Oliveira is their leading goal scorer with 7 in league play. However, he received a red card against Rotherham last weekend so I believe he will not be playing against us. They still have Cameron Jerome however and he's an experienced player and he also has 7 league goals this season. Jacob Murphy has also been having a good season, chipping in 5 goals as a 21 year old.
Despite their recent struggles, Norwich have still been at least competent at Carrow Road, with 3 wins out of their last four at home. Wolves have been looking much better of late. Defense still makes me nervous, but at least we've finally gotten a goal from a forward with Mason scoring against Villa. I'll be optimistic and go for the win.
