If you'll drive and supply the ale then I'll come.
During the journey/match let's talk about anything but footy. We agree too much on that, which is boring.
;D
On reflection, not a good idea tomorrow Sinkov.
I've got a broken rib and if we get arguing about anything (as if) then you will drive over pot holes and take bends too tightly in a vain effort to shut me up.
Let's leave it for another match? Only joking about you doing the driving - I could pick you up in Clitheroe, as long as you buy me five pints.
I am an excellent driver. I can drive and play chess at the same time.
Labour Party meeting in Astley Bridge for me plus we're off to Newcastle on Wednesday so I'm a bit short on time this week!
I knew it, broken ribs, Labour Party meetings, excuses, excuses, at least one 'proper' fan will be there supporting our young lads.
Can't afford it BT, I'm a hard up pensioner suffering under the capitalist yoke, a couple of quid at Curzon Ashton on a Monday night and a meat and potato growler at half time I can run to, but PL football and a trip up to the NE is problematic.
Enjoy your Prawn sandwiches. ;D
Probably OC and definitely Ashy.. as its a home match for him..
My youngest son is totally Burnley bonkers (no idea where he got that from!) and over the years we have knocked off almost every ground in the country following the Clarets. He had never been to Newcastle United's ground, so I arranged to take him and his mate and then the wife said she had never visited Newcastle at all.
So what started as a quick trip to Newcastle has ended up with two hotel rooms, God knows how many meals and alcohol consumption to pay for and it's me who is footing the bill!
We had better bloody win, that's all I can say!
