Just got back after driving through monsoon conditions it was dreadful glad I parked at Stanmore away in quick time,it was surprising how many Miller's parked there

Got back to Worksop a little ago. The storm was the worst I've driven through - I noticed the M1 southbound carriageway was closed just south of Northampton. They had put cones across the road. I've got a bottle of Moet and Chandon I had in the cellar, my wife was good enough to put in the fridge for me!
I got back about half ten , went on my motorbike ! The storm was awful and the M1 like a river ! That is the wettest I have ever been but all worth it UTM
