All the squad around 1982. Peter Cartwright lived opposite us in Wideopen and was talking with my mum at a New Year’s Eve party. Said he would take me along to training a couple of days later. Still got my picture with Keegan he was wearing red wine coloured trousers and matching jumper with white skiers around the top of the chest and back.
Met them again a few months later as I was one of the lucky 500 on the KK blue star soccer days.
Albert Stubbins

My granny. She didn't actually get a contract but she was a lot better than Perez...
Oldies. Sir Bobby, Hughie Gallacher, Tom and Jack Callander, George Wilbert.
Just as well Pboro's indisposed as he would fill dozens of pages on his own on this thread.
Keegan when he was manager first time roond he came to the kids school wi a few players.
Beardsley at the Metro centre, chatted to him for a while until his wife came and gave him a tongue lashing..
Kevin Carr, went to school wi him.
Bobby and Jackie Charlton numerous times, coming from Ashington..
He had a pizza with Messi the last time he was in Turkey and he used to clean George Best's mattresses.
He has met all of the previous 10 world cup winning teams in a private audience, theres probably a few more.I'm sure he will update us when he gets back from his jollies...
