Memorable debuts
Whose debut have you seen where you've thought 'get in, we've got a player'?
...or even 'ah, shite, this is gonna be bad!' XD
I was at the game vs the smoggies (losing 2-0 currently O:) ) when Tino made his debut. We were losing 1-0 and not playing particularly well when Keegan brought him on. I think their left back was admitted to hospital with chronic dizziness and a badly twisted neck after the game. Sure enough Tino created the equaliser for Steve Watson and then caused havoc every time he got the ball and we went on to win the game.
Over to you.

Wasn't memorable but it was an indication of hte player he'd become for us.
Step back to 2006/2007 and an injury to Wor Shola in the UEFA Cup first round, into this void steps Antoine Sibierski.
He scored on his debut and then worked hard all game. Exactly how he played his season, always had a great respect for him the way he got his head down and worked and worked.

Good shout that, Jammy. He was surprisingly decent on the ball and had a great attitude.
-
Papiss Cisse. Seem to remember him having a decent start to his Nufc career.

Even before they had their debuts, I knew Ben Arfa and later Cabaye would be something special. Before they both acted like spoiled children, they were incredible players for us in this generation.
Cissé had a great debut with that winner against Villa. Dubravka against Man Utd.

Supermacs hat trick against Liverpool,he looked as if he was going to get a fourth when he collided with their keeper and was carried off semi conscious minus some teeth.

Big Al's home debut against the Dons.
Was there ever any doubt?
