Trouble is, we will struggle to out a team out. He weakened us in Jan. And is now naming and shaming individual players and blaming them. While I never believe a person goes from good to bad overnight, you do have to question his team selection. His lack of spending. His tactical choices. And now playing the blame game. He has to shoulder some of this. On Tues we could have 3 CH to call on. But sent 3 away on loan. And refused to replace them. Even though money was available. And players where. He will rue that mistake. And Tues is affected because of that. We will stuggle to fill the bench.
Rovers 1 Latics 2..
3-1 to Rovers.
Rovers 2 Wigan 1
Only some fans had that opinion. I thought he was ok. The issue isn't the fans opinion. It's why he was allowed to go. Alongside two young players who allowed to go out. Bearing in mind we have lost Mulgrew, Rodwell and Lenihan for spells already this season, I found it a strange decision. He doesn't play Rothwell, but he kept him? I just think that decision to weaken us in Jan will be his last error. Especially if we lost to Wigan tomorrow.
Surley our luck will change at some point? This is just a bit weird now. It's so depressing and stressful watching us at the moment. Not helped on Sat by one of the worst refs I've had the misfortune of witnessing.
Fools seldom differ so I'm with Alfi for a 2-1 home win. If I say it often enough it must win.
Much better
Wigan look absolutely shot and if Rotherham put a run together they will be gone.
We can almost confirm safety one more win should do it.
You just need that touch of luck sometimes. Very scrappy, nervy first 30, but we battled well. Penalty? Hmm...not sure. I thought Reed looked a bit worried that he was going to get a yellow card for simulation, but it was the kind of decision that has been going against us, so...
The last half-hour was back to something like what we can do, although Dack was a bit wasteful.
It does show, though, that generalising about performances and individuals is always risky.
Nyambe, Armstrong, Williams, Dack and - especially - Bennett all played well after getting a lot of stick recently.
Nyambe and Williams did a very good job of making Magloire's debut relatively trouble-free. He really grew in confidence in that second half, despite being caught out of position a couple of times.
