I know somw folk think Ritchie is more important for his contribution in other areas (workrate, flexibilty role-wise, experience, etc) which is fair enough-I don't share their view, though. Shelvey, on the other hand, is a decent squad player, I think.

Think Shelvey has shown he is yet another 1 in 10 player
Imo we have too many of them
Balance of the squad is all wrong

Oh, I agree about him being far too inconsistent...all the more frustrating when we know what he can offer.
