We have completed the signing of left-back Jordan Barnett on a deal until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old joins us following the expiration of his contract with Oldham Athletic, for whom he made 17 League Two appearances – plus another seven in cup competitions - after joining the Latics on a short-term deal in September.

Interesting one, because it seems he doesn't currently have a club, and 20 odd games in the league above means he will have a bit more experience than a lot of the loanees we've signed. Hopefully he impresses and earns a permanent deal next season, because he is at the age where he could be a decent investment.

Apparently he can also play in central midfield so that adds some options to the squad.
We don’t need options in central midfield. It’s either Doyle and Reeves or Reeves and Doyle!

Looks like he has potential and he's played most of the games he was eligible for at Oldham this season.
